The University of Portsmouth has a wide range of lecture theatres, halls and seminar rooms which have year round availability and can seat up to 2,000 delegates. In addition to this, our conference and events team have years of experience in all areas of group management, providing us with the know-how and resources to make your event as stress free and memorable as possible.
They also provide bespoke quality catering for events from small private lunches to larger formal banquets for up to 500 delegates.
During the summer months between June and September, they are able to offer over 3,500 en suite rooms, all of which are within easy walking distance of our conference facilities in the city centre and on the seafront. The university is one of the best locations for group accommodation in the South of England and are the most popular choice for groups visiting the city during the summer months.
Much of our accommodation is annually inspected by the English Tourism Council and is awarded a 3 star grading and we are previous winners of 'The UK's Best University Accommodation for Groups', awarded by readers of the Group Travel Organiser Magazine.
