Meet the team
Our team, led by General Manager Natalie Williamson, works directly with the member venues and event organisers to build relationships and understand their needs and requirements. The result is a free venue-finding service, matching event planners with a list of specialist academic venues that can help.
Natalie Williamson has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the academic venues sector, having worked at Venuemasters since 2006. Natalie works with the company’s volunteer Board of Directors and business partners to develop the strategic plan. She is responsible for leading and directing the company to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the business plan to meet the agreed objectives.
Erin Footitt is Marketing Administration Assistant. She joined the team in 2016 as an apprentice and is completing now a level 3 BTEC in Customer Service. Her role includes developing relationships and assisting the member venues to ensure they are making the most of the opportunities available.
Rachael Bartlett is Sales and Membership Director. She works on a consultant basis, and has experience working in the hospitality and higher education sector. Her role is to engage with member venues about the opportunities available to them, plus develop relationships and sign up new academic venues.
Our Board, chaired by Steve Crawford, includes hospitality industry specialists and senior operations managers, as well as marketing and events experts. They have a profound understanding of both the needs and requirements of event planners, and the challenges the Higher Education sector faces in the commercial marketplace.
