Meet the team
Our team, led by General Manager Natalie Williamson, works directly with the member venues and event organisers to build relationships and understand their needs and requirements. The result is a free venue-finding service, matching event planners with a list of specialist academic venues that can help.
Natalie Williamson has extensive experience and a deep understanding of the academic venues sector. Natalie works with the company’s volunteer Board of Directors and business partners to develop the strategic plan. She is responsible for leading and directing the company to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of the business plan to meet the agreed objectives.
Rachael Bartlett, Sales and Membership Director. Rachael has experience working in the hospitality and higher education sector. Her role is to engage with member venues about the opportunities available to them, plus develop relationships and sign up new academic venues.
Jodie Fear, Event Sales Consultant. Jodie has a wealth of experience having started her career as a venue finder at a conference agency. Her role is to proactively work with clients to help them find solutions for their events through our venue-finding service.
Our Board, chaired by Steve Crawford, includes hospitality industry specialists and senior operations managers, as well as marketing and events experts. They have a profound understanding of both the needs and requirements of event planners, and the challenges the Higher Education sector faces in the commercial marketplace.
