Founded in 1796 as “the Place of Useful Learning”, Strathclyde is a leading international technological university in the heart of Glasgow.  Our compact campus is readily accessible by road, rail and air, and the vibrant Merchant City is right on our doorstep.

Our flagship venue is the Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC), offering flexible conferencing space for up to 600 delegates, all year round.

TIC’s Main Auditorium accommodates 450 delegates, with an innovative system of movable walls sub-dividing the room into 3 spaces seating 150; while the 150-seater Level 1 Auditorium is ideal for smaller conferences or larger breakouts.

TIC’s 10 Conference Rooms offer bright, comfortable meeting space for up to 100.  With flexible layouts and user-friendly audio-visual solutions, they’re also great for breakout sessions.

TIC’s conferencing spaces are linked by spacious foyers which enjoy natural daylight and contemporary furnishing - perfect for networking, catering and exhibitions.

All TIC’s rooms are equipped with the latest in video conferencing, projection, display and audio technology, our in-house Technicians are on-hand to offer support, and delegates can connect to fast, free WiFi.

Across campus, we offer a variety of lecture theatres and other spaces for hire during Easter and summer vacations, from our newly-refurbished Learning & Teaching Hub, to the Graham Hills Building, featuring our colourful Wonderwall mural, and the Barony, a stunning backdrop for seated dinners, standing receptions and conferences.   The tranquility of Rottenrow Gardens and Strathclyde Sport's state-of-the-art fitness facilities offer delegates a chance to relax and unwind after a long day.

Our friendly and experienced team will work with you from enquiry to delivery to ensure that your delegates have the very best experience. Our in-house catering team has designed a varied collection to complement your event and we’ll happily work on bespoke options to delight your delegates.
