I like the open nature of the building. It is light and airy and has a real sense of ease and flow. The coffee area is a real hit and I have enjoyed sitting there having meetings as well as experienced the buzz of a large event when people come out and hang out between sessions.
It has helped me feel like spaces for learning can be high-tech and a modern environment.
Often learning occurs in dingy areas which do not give a sense of worth and importance. The events we have hosted there so far have in part been successful due to the environment being welcoming, fresh and new.
