London Metropolitan has an array of unique indoor and outdoor spaces for all your event and conference needs, whether for summer schools, festive parties, classrooms and filming projects.

We are most famously known for our Great Hall! Which was once an old Victorian theatre, which we have restored to its former glory, making it a fantastic backdrop for any event. We also have several classrooms and lecture halls that are great for workshops and keynote speakers.

We are fully licensed and can provide catering (canapes, dinners, etc.). We also have a wide range of technical equipment and support, taking your event to the next level.

All our locations are close to Underground stations. They are effortless to locate, making it easier for anyone who is commuting.

Location and transport information

Holloway Campus is exceptionally well connected. Holloway Road tube station is just a two minute walk away and sits on the Piccadilly line, only two stops from King’s Cross St Pancras. Highbury and Islington station is also nearby, around a ten minute walk, providing access to the Victoria line, London Overground and National Rail services. Several local bus routes serve the campus, making travel simple from across London.

Aldgate Campus is located within minutes of multiple underground stations. Aldgate connects to the Circle and Metropolitan lines, while Aldgate East serves the District and Hammersmith and City lines. Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street National Rail stations are just over a ten minute walk away.

London Metropolitan University offers a collection of distinctive central London venues that combine striking architecture, flexible layouts and professional event support, making them ideal for conferences, meetings, training and receptions.

Our flagship Graduate Centre Conference Suite at the Holloway campus provides a premium event environment within an award-winning Daniel Libeskind building. The suite features a purpose-built lecture theatre with integrated AV and staging, complemented by local break out spaces and a bright reception space. Floor-to-ceiling geometric windows flood the venue with natural light, creating an impressive setting for keynote sessions, panel events and networking. With a private entrance and dedicated event flow, the space supports theatre, cabaret, classroom, boardroom and standing formats, offering flexibility for events of up to around 200 guests across the suite.

Across our Holloway and Aldgate campuses we offer a wide range of additional meeting rooms, classrooms and large conference spaces, enabling multi-stream events, workshops and exhibitions to run simultaneously. This variety allows organisers to scale from small meetings to full conference programmes within one booking.

All events are supported by an experienced in-house Events Team who work with clients from enquiry through to delivery, assisting with room layouts, AV requirements and scheduling to ensure a smooth experience.

Catering is delivered by our professional campus hospitality partner and can be tailored to suit each event, from day delegate packages and working lunches to receptions and refreshment breaks. Our central London locations benefit from excellent transport links, with Aldgate, Aldgate East and Liverpool Street stations just minutes away, making access easy for delegates travelling locally, nationally or internationally.

While we do not offer on-site accommodation, we work closely with a range of nearby hotels to support delegate stays.
