Location and transport information

Harper Adams University is only 40 minutes from Birmingham, is set in 700 acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside and provides first class conference, accommodation, catering and social facilities.

Although Telford Central is the closest train station to Harper Adams, you may find more direct trains to Stafford or Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury has a bus service that stops at the campus, or you will be able to get a taxi from any of these stations

We offer excellent teaching and learning facilities, comfortable residential accommodation (424 single ensuite bedrooms), catering and leisure facilities on a beautiful 700 acre campus that creates a stunning backdrop for your stay with us.

Our campus combines contemporary facilities with a peaceful rural environment and a friendly, welcoming service. Facilities include the impressive Bamford Library, IT training rooms with computing and engineering design suites including the countries only indoor soil hall, large lecture theatres, two conference halls, specialist laboratories, 43 teaching rooms, the University Farm, Postgraduate and Professional Development Centre and Food Academy. Many of our facilities include modern, high spec AV and multi-media equipment, and video conferencing facilities are available as well as campus-wide wi-fi with free access.

Our award-winning culinary team pride themselves on food that is local, ethically sourced, beautifully prepared and presented in pleasant surroundings. The vast majority of our ingredients come from local producers, our own farm, or are Fairtrade accredited.
