The University of Derby Venues welcomes Nature Connections 2026

Nature Connections - Keynotes

The University of Derby Venues is delighted to welcome Nature Connections 2026 to The Cavendish Building, an exceptional venue in the heart of Derby City Centre.

This highly regarded conference has grown significantly since its launch more than a decade ago, and brings together leading voices in nature, wellbeing and environmental research. Delegates can look forward to an outstanding programme of keynote speakers, talks and workshops, all taking place within one convenient location.

Among the headline speakers is Tony Juniper CBE, one of the UK’s most influential environmental leaders; Professor Kirsten McEwan, Associate Professor of Health and Well-being and internationally recognised expert in forest bathing; and Professor Miles Richardson, whose research examines how our connection with nature is influenced by wider social and cultural factors, including urbanisation, economic change and shifting beliefs across generations.

The Cavendish Building is a vibrant, purpose-built seven-storey venue that combines innovation, expertise and opportunity under one roof. The building offers a welcoming and professional environment for conferences, meetings and events of all sizes. The space inspires engagement, creativity and knowledge sharing; a perfect mix for Nature Connections 2026!
