2018 ended successfully for Academic Venue Solutions, with the confirmation of three new members to the growing consortium. Membership continues to be a focus for the team and the consortium has seen 10 new members join during 2018, taking the total membership to 48 academic venues.
Oxford Brookes Venues offer a range of contemporary and flexible meeting spaces and lecture theatres able to seat two to 500, and are delighted to hosting Oxford Business Awards again this year. The announcement was made at the OXBA 2019 launch on the 10 January.
MEETinLEEDS won a prestigious award at the second edition Academic Venue Awards (AVA) at the University of Birmingham on Tuesday 27 November 2018. The team scooped the accolade for Best Accessibility, which comes on the back of winning the ‘Best Partnership’ award at the Conference Awards in June.

On Thursday 29 November the team from College Court and Leicester Conferences attended the Leicestershire Tourism Awards. Now in its 8th year, the awards are organised by Leicestershire Promotions and are aimed at finding the best tourism businesses in Leicestershire. College Court and Leicester Conferences were delighted to have been finalists in 6 of the 22 categories.
